Atypiqueers

An online community born in Lausanne, Switzerland, open to everyone who is queer and neurodivergent — or questioning.

We meet up, share our reads, our finds and our experiences. Join the WhatsApp group to say hi.

What we are testing

Each month, the community tries out a tool, app or method made for neurodivergent brains. Here is what we are exploring right now.

Structured app — Energy Monitor screen on iPhone
We are currently trying Structured, a daily planner designed for neurodivergent people. Its latest update introduces Energy Monitor, a feature inspired by the spoon theory by Christine Miserandino. With Energy Monitor you can set a daily energy budget, estimate how much energy each task costs, and schedule activities that give back energy. It turns an abstract feeling into a concrete plan, so you can see before the day runs away from you whether you are overcommitting.

"It can also help neurodivergent people in setting boundaries to help them prevent burnout."

— Leo Mehlig, founder of Structured

Also available on Mac via the App Store. A web version exists at structured.app, but Energy Monitor is not supported there yet.
